I must confess I have never been much good at crochet. My mother taught me when I was a young girl, but she taught me to hold the hook like a knitting needle, and I have never managed to break the bad habit.

As a result the most I have ever made is basic “granny square” rugs. So as I build these pages I am hoping that I will also learn some new things, and maybe be able to produce something a little more advanced.
